Arturo Coello hails from Mojados, a small village in the province of Valladolid on the Castilian plateau of Spain. His father was an avid padel player, introducing Arturo to the sport early on. He learned his craft on the old concrete padel courts at the Polideportivo in Mojados – courts where the balls bounced differently than on modern glass facilities, making his technical foundation exceptionally versatile. He first tried padel at seven, also playing football and tennis. At ten, he chose padel definitively – drawn by the sport's tactical depth and the joy of playing with his brother Rodry
